Overview of Sol a Gogo

Solo a Gogo is a family run holiday park, managed by people with years of experience in the holiday business. Beach lovers especially will love this campsite, as a pathway from the holiday parc leads directly onto a wide sandy beach.

Sol a Gogo is attractively laid out, and is within walking distance of some cafes, restaurants and bars. The holiday parc boasts a superb outdoor swimming pool with water slides, and an indoor pool with jacuzzi. A children’s play area and games room are also available.

Children’s activities are arranged by the holiday parc animateurs in peak season and include treasure-hunts, arts and crafts, face painting and sporting activities, which sometimes take place on the beach at Sol a Gogo or Le Bois Tordu. There is an evening entertainment programme in July and August which includes karaoke, live bands, discos, and magic shows.

Nearby there are beautiful wooded areas, ideal for family walks and picnics. The area is also well serviced with cycle paths.

St. Jean de Monts, a large sea side resort with a long promenade and a fabulous golden beach is just a short drive away. Here you will find wonderful restaurants and bars, many of them on the waterfront. There are also some beautiful boutiques, knick-knack stores, and market areas for browsing in the sun.

Le Puy de Fou - Not to be missed, we recommend you spend at the very least 1 full day here, enjoying the many shows and displays throughout the day. Sample life as it was in the 18th century by visiting its old world village, set in beautiful surroundings. The evening shows are also spectacular and are highly recommended

St. Gilles Croix de Vie -This is a beautiful picturesque fishing port and lively town just a short drive away. It boasts many fine stores, creperies, and ice cream parlours as well as some good restaurants, bars, and cafes. There is also a marvellous beach at la Grande Place where water sports activities are arranged.

Atlantic Water Park - Water lovers will have a ball here! There are numerous water slides and chutes of all shapes and sizes located right through the park.

Les Sables d’Olonne - Further south is the large sea side resort of Les Sables D’Olonne, with its wide promenade and long sandy beach. Here you will find superb restaurants and bars, many of them overlooking the sea, as well as some fine boutiques and market areas. There is also a war museum which is well worth a visit, as well a fort and marina.

Parc d’Attractions des Dunes – This play park located in Bretignolles sur Mer is just a short drive away and offers a variety of children’s equipment which guarantees hours of fun.
