A true holiday village Port Bourgenay is situated on the southern coast of the Vendee coastline. 

In a beautiful parkland setting Port Bourgenay boasts a boating lake and a testing 18 hole golf course. 

There is a choice of apartments here to suit 4-6 people. On site there is a selection of activities, especially in high season [see site facilities]. 

The swimming pool complex is undoubtedly the centre piece of the resort with its waterslides and play pool for smaller children. 

The nearest beach is just a short distance away. There are numerous glorious beaches for which the area is renowned including the huge one at Les Sables d’Olonne, a large sea side resort with its long promenade, marina, fort, and war museum. 

Seafood is a specialty of the region. Feast on fresh mussels, oysters, crabs, lobster… washed down by a bottle of the local Muscadet. 

There are many vineyards and “caves” to be visited –where you can purchase good quality wines directly from the producer.
