PORT DE PLAISANCE
Bénodet has long proved to be a very popular family resort only a short drive from Roscoff. Its attractive waterfront once the domain of fishermen, is now a thriving yachting centre that really comes alive at night. The beautiful sandy beaches of Bénodet are within walking distance of the holiday parc and watersport enthusiasts will enjoy the windsurfing and sailing available there. Whilst there, take in the stunning views across the harbour and out to the open seas from the Phare de la Pyramide lighthouse. Watch the world go by from one of the cafés along the promenade or take the boat trip from the port upstream to Quimper or by sea to Concarneau.
Port du Plaisance is ideal for families of all ages. The holiday parc itself is attractive and spacious, set in what was once a cider orchard. It has excellent amenities including a new swimming pool with waterslides and a play area for children. Young children enjoy the numerous daily organised activities whilst teenagers are attracted to the waterslides and evening discos. Pony trekking, horse riding, and go-karting are available for those feeling energetic just a short distance from the holiday parc .
Port de Plaisance offers the opportunity to leave the car locked for the duration of the holiday if one wishes. Benodet, the beach, restaurants, bars and the local supermarket are all within walking distance, so those who wish to have a break from driving can relax. With Port de Plaisance being approximately a 75 minute drive from the Port of Roscoff, more time can be spent relaxing on holiday!
