Terms & Conditions
We
accept internet bookings and will confirm these after the following
steps have been completed. A Booking Form must be completed for each
booking by the party leader together with the payment of the
appropriate deposit plus personal insurance premiums. On receipt of
these we will send you a confirmation invoice the balance on your
invoice is payable 9 weeks before travel, If we are unable to accept
your booking, your deposit will be returned in full. In the event of
non-payment of your final balance by the due date we reserve the right
to cancel your holiday.
The booking is made subject to the terms and conditions of anyone we utilise to provide services in relation to the holiday. We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury, damage, delay or otherwise which arises from the acts, defaults or omissions of persons, firms and companies over whom we do not have direct control.
After acceptance and confirmation of the holiday the deposit is non-refundable. Refunds on deposits may only be given at the discretion of Hello France Travel management. Cancellation of the holiday must be sent in writing. If you cancel your holiday before the final balance is due you will only forfeit your deposit. After this the following amounts will be payable. Less than 9 weeks and up to 4 weeks 60%, less than 4 weeks 100%. Refunds outside the above time limits may only be made at the discretion of Hello France Travel management.
For the security of our customers it is a condition of booking that adequate insurance is effected. A passport is necessary for travel to France and we advise clients that the appropriate application forms can be obtained from all main Post Offices. There are no health formalities or visa requirements for EU nationals. Clients from other countries are advised to check with the French consulate.
We make every effort to ensure that information in our website/brochure is accurate. This information is sourced from campsite owners, tourist boards, ferry companies and the like many months in advance. For more up to date information please enquire at time of booking. The listing of site amenities does not guarantee availability as implementation is at the discretion of owners. Site Rules: The client and his party undertake to abide by the site regulations.
Facilities/Off Peak Holidays:
Please note that the site owners may not open full facilities outside the peak season.
Ferry/Airline:
If
part of your holiday includes carriage by sea or air, it will be
subject to the terms and conditions of the shipping company or airline.
Owners/Agents:
Owners
and their agents reserve the right to make any structural or other
alterations to their mobile homes, tents and equipment without notice.
We take all reasonable steps to ensure that the holidays advertised in this brochure have been properly arranged and we only use reputable organisations in this country and abroad to provide our service. Our suppliers in France are governed by the local and national laws and regulations in force in that country.
Mobile home accommodation runs from 4 pm to 6 pm on the first day of the holiday and finishes at 10 am on the final day. In order to guarantee entry to the accommodation clients are asked to arrive by 9 p.m. In the event of arrival after 9 pm arrangements can be made by contacting our office in advance. A deposit of up to €250 will be required on some sites which will be refunded once the accommodation is left in the condition in which it was received. Several sites take a deposit on arrival which they refund on departure. On these sites we do not add a cleaning deposit to the clients invoice.
Clients are responsible for any damage or breakages. Arrangements for repair will be made and payment should be made directly to the courier or site agent. The client shall indemnify us against all losses and/or damages arising directly from any act, default or omission of the client or member of the client’s party.
A Tourist Tax is payable directly by the client at some locations.
If
you have a problem during your holiday with any of the services
provided please inform the relevant supplier (e.g. your hotelier,
accommodation rep. or site agent) so that they can put it right. If you
have difficulties please call us on 00 441507 359358 so that we can take the matter up on your behalf. If you intend to complain to our office on your return you
must obtain a complaint reference form detailing your complaint and any
action offered or undertaken by our representative or campsite
management. It is strongly suggested that you communicate any complaint
to the supplier of the services in question without delay. If you fail
to follow this procedure we will have been deprived of the opportunity
to investigate and rectify your complaint whilst you are in resort and
this may affect your rights under this contract. Notification of a
claim must be made in writing within 28 days of the end of the holiday.
The amount of compensation paid by us shall not be greater than the
total amount of the travel arrangements made with us. We are unable to
accept responsibility for any aspect of the holiday affected by matters
over which we have no control, including but not limited to war, threat
of war, civil commotion or strife, strikes, acts of God and all events
outside our control. We reserve the right to alter, curtail or cancel a
holiday.
We do not accept liability where there has been no fault on our part or on the part of our employees, sub-contractors, agents or suppliers and where the events complained of are due to an event which even with due care neither ourselves nor our suppliers could have foreseen.
We do our best to comply with special requests such as positions of accommodation units and families holidaying together, but in no circumstances can we guarantee this or accept a booking under such conditions.
Where children’s activities are arranged for safety reasons it may be necessary to limit numbers attending to a first come first served basis. Occasionally it may be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances to cancel the children’s activities. Because of the specialised nature of their activities children’s couriers sometimes cannot be readily replaced.
Hello France Travel is a Limited Liability Company. Hello France Travel acts as booking agents only.
All prices quoted are stated in Sterling
and are based on exchange rates current and appropriate at the time of
publication. If rates alter substantially this increase/decrease will
be passed on to the hirer. The booking conditions may only be waived by a director of the company and in writing. The conditions are subject to and shall be construed according to English law.
In accordance with the EU directive covering Package Holidays we have set up a Trustee account. All payments made to Hello France Travel Ltd are placed into that account and remain in trust until the contract has been fully performed or any sum of money paid to the consumer in respect of the contract has been repaid to him or has been forfeited on cancellation by the consumer.
